What’s In My Weekend Bag

My love for a classic French style market basket runs deep. I found my first one in London years ago and still remember that feeling of finding such a trusty addition to daily life.

I use mine all the time. I take it away on the weekends to the beach, I take it to the flower market while propping for shoots and it also comes in handy when picking up mid-week groceries to avoid using plastic bags.

Inspired by the traditional style, I have added my version of my ultimate throw-in-and-go market basket to the shop.

I think you can learn so much from what is in a woman’s handbag, so I thought I’d show you a peek into mine.

This is what my bag looks like when I’ve finished work on a Friday and I’m heading into the weekend. Just the essentials.

I like to pack light on the weekend, you should see the chaos in my weekday handbag, no one wants to see that!

I always pack a magazine, usually Vanity Fair or World of Interiors, my sunglasses & sunscreen (it’s always sunny in Queensland), my new tan leather sandals that I’m road testing for the shop, my signature fragrance and accessories to get into that weekend mood.

Happy weekend! K x
